DC, CCSP, FIAMA, ART

Born in Chicago, Dr. Dave is the youngest of 5 boys. Growing up in a suburb neighborhood of Chicago, both parents instilled hard work ethic and honesty in their children. Three of his older brothers are doctors, one chiropractor, one double doctor (chiropractor/medical doctor) and one PhD. His oldest brother is a 150 Operator Engineer (now retired). Dr. Dave has nearly 26 years of experience in practice. He practiced as an associate for two different doctors before joining brother Francis for a couple of years in LaGrange Park. Then over 20 years ago, he met Dr. Jody Fox and purchased Fox Chiropractic Center from her. Dr. Dave’s life changed dramatically at that point. His amazing wife Debbie was pregnant with the first of four children. The practice was challenging, but so was raising babies! Twenty years later, his oldest daughter is 26, he has a 24 year old son, 23 year old daughter and a 21 year old son. This all creates a busy home front with just a little bit of chaos! During all of the years of practice, business, and babies, Dr. Dave managed to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, certified in acupuncture and Active Release Technique, with dozens of courses taken in nutrition, rehabilitation and research review. Once you become a physician, you can never stop learning… but it gets to be more fun when you go to work and use the information you learned the very next day! It makes Dr. Dave happy when he is serving people. This can often require him to send them to a different doctor or specialist. He believes, as a chiropractor, that he is a complementary part of health care that can be trusted and beneficial for most of those who have health concerns. Why not ask the doctor who can’t offer drugs or surgery… he may have a different kind of solution (and think outside the box)!

As of December 2024, my eldest daughter has now joined the field of Chiropractic and graduated from Parker University. Dr. Shannon Di Iorio will be working with us after her graduation.

Dr. Shannon Di Iorio, DC
Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Shannon Di Iorio is the eldest daughter of Dr. David Di Iorio and Debbie Di Iorio. As the oldest of four siblings, she developed strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a deep sense of teamwork from an early age.

During her high school years, Dr. Di Iorio spent several summers working as a chiropractic assistant at Fox Chiropractic, an experience that sparked her passion for chiropractic care and revealed the body’s incredible ability to heal itself. She pursued this newfound interest at Marquette University, where she majored in Biomedical Science. It was there that she discovered her love for Gross Anatomy and contributed to research in the Organic Chemistry Department

Dr. Di Iorio continued her education at Parker University in Dallas, Texas, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic in December 2024. Throughout chiropractic school, she developed a special interest in working with athletes, as well as pregnant mothers and babies. She also met wonderful peers who played a significant role in her learning journey and helped expand her knowledge along the way. It was also at Parker University where Dr. Di Iorio met her boyfriend, Dr. Gray Johnson, who has been a source of support throughout her chiropractic education.

Dr. Di Iorio graduated in December 2024 as a Doctor of Chiropractic and began practicing in January 2025. She is thrilled to return to the community where she spent the first 18 years of her life and is eager to bring a fresh energy to the practice as she helps others achieve optimal health and wellness.
